Weston Super Mare Canine Society Open Show:

At his very first show S. Ciao Aquilo wins Novice class and Minor Puppy Stakes while S. Stepnoi Veter JW wins BOB and Open Dog Stakes. The judge was Mr Martin Sanders.

Potters Bar Ringraft match night:

First time out and S. Ciao Agrippina starts her show career by winning Baby Puppy in match.

Ladies Kennel Club Championship Show:

S. Savannah Dawn JW wins her third RCC under breed specialist Mrs Isobel Dyke. At the same show S. Stepnoi Veter JW is placed 2nd in the Open class.

NOVEMBER 2003

Kortrijk International Show, Belgium:

S. Savannah Dawn JW wins Open class, CAC, CACIB and goes BOS under Belgian breed specialist Audrie Vansteelant-Benoit.

SEPTEMBER 2003

Yorkshire Afghan Hound Society Championship Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter JW is placed 5th in a very strong Open class by Daphnie Gie (Australia). Sisters S. Savannah Dawn JW and S. Sahara Whirlwind are placed 3rd and 5th respectively in Post Graduate bitch class by Betty Stites (USA).

AUGUST 2003

Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter JW is 3rd in Open class - judge Terry Thorn.

Hound Association of Ireland & Clonmel Championship Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter JW is is placed 2nd in Open class behind UK's top Afghan Hound. He also wins two Res Green Stars.

Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter JW is placed 5th in Open class - judge Mrs Jenny Dove.

Yearling class - judge Mrs Anna Paton

JUNE 2003

Three Counties Championship Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter JW wins Special Yearling

class under Mr Graham Parcell (Harlextan).

Afghan Hound Club of Wales:

S. Stepnoi Veter JW wins Special Yearling dog class under Mrs Valerie McCormack (Tulak).

S. Savannah Dawn JW is placed 2nd in Special Yearling bitch under Mr Dudley Chadwick.

Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter JW wins his first CC and BOB under Mr Stephen Wheeler (Australia, Jacosta) at just 20 months of age.

Hound Club of East Anglia Open Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter JW wins Open class, Best Dog and BOB under Mrs Ann Lapham

MARCH 2003

Crufts 2003:

Shadowfax afghans have a wonderful day at Crufts. Only two weeks out of junior Doushman (S.Stepnoi Veter JW) wins Special Yearling Dog class over 19 dogs, while sister Tia (S. Savannah Dawn JW)is placed 4th in a strong Special Yearling Bitch class. Dogs were judged by Mrs Wendye Slayter (Australia, Calahorra) and bitches by Mr Uwe Fisher (Germany).

Hoogstaten International Show, Belgium:

Last time out in Junior class - S. Stepnoi Veter JW wins Junior Dog and Best Junior under Mr George Kostopoulos from Greece.

East of England Afghan Hound Club Championship Show:

S. Savannah Dawn JW wins Junior bitch class and goes up in the challenge to win her second Reserve CC! The judge was Mrs Pat Maccan from South Africa.

S. Stepnoi Veter JW is placed 3rd in both Junior dog and Special Yearling dog classes under Mrs Audrie Benoit from Belgium.

Manchester Championship Show:

S. Savannah Dawn wins Junior bitch class under Mrs Olive Thomas and gains the last points for her Junior Warrant.

East Kent CS Open Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter wins Junior, Limit and Open classes, goes BOB and is placed 3rd in the Hound Group under Nick Bryce-Smith. This gives Doushman his last points for the Junior Warrant title. Sister Kir was Reserve in Junior and 3rd in Open.

Worthing & District CS Open Show:

Shadowfax afghans have double success this weekend - mum Bailey (Metewand Omai of S.) wins Open and BOB and is placed 3rd in the Hound Group. Following close in her paw-steps son Doushman wins Junior and is ResBOB behind mum! The judge is Mrs Marion Hunt.

JANUARY 2003

Dartford & District Open Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter wins Junior, Open and BOB under Mr Ian Markie. Sister Kir (S. Sandpiper) is 2nd in Junior and 4th in Open.

Houndshow Open 2003:

S. Stepnoi Veter wins Open Dog and Junior classes and goes BOB over an entry of 45 Afghans. Mum Bailey (Metewand Omai of S.) wins Open Bitch under judge Mrs L Collingwood

Sister Tia started 2003 by making an appearance at the prestigious Pup of The Year finals in London, having qualified in June 2002 at Windsor CS under Mr Terry Thorn.

Rugely CS Open Show:

S. Stepnoi Veter - wins Junior class and Res BOB behind aunt Blaize (Nanak Freecloud Firenze) 

Kajaani Dog Show, Finland:

While on holiday in Lapland, Doushman (S. Stepnoi Veter) got bored playing in the snow and went to a dog show in Kajaani in the North of Finland. He was the only male graded Excellent, won Best Male, BOS and his second CAC - all at just 16 months old and what a start to 2003!
